Skipper Rick and his First mate, Julie have been providing cusotm sailing tours of the Sunshine coast sine 2014. We will do everything we can to meet your expectations. Our skipper is a former Coxswain with Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue. The members of Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue play an important role in public marine safety education on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year to offer marine search rescue on our BC waters. The Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue (Formerly Coast Guard Auxillary ) is funded by donation.

  We love love sailing and want you to share the fun and adventure on your crewed charter.

Skipper: Rick is a calm quiet man with over 30 years as a Canadian Yachting Association Certified Skipper. He also holds numerous Transport Canada Certifications in vessel operation and Navigation. He holds an Advanced Marine First Aid Certificate. Rick is an on call Coxswain for Royal Canadian Search and Rescue (former Coast Guard Auxillary) Rick and Julie are former members of the Lower Mainland Yacht Co-operative where they were the social cruise directors. After purchasing Reverie, they went on to hold the position of Social Cruise Directors with the Point Robert's Yacht Club. Rick and Julie are very active and involved in their community in skating, golf and numerous volunteer activities,. 

Crew: Julie is an experienced sailor, holds CPS Basic Boating and VHF License. Julie is a former Registered Nurse with 30 years experience. She has Food Safe certification, has worked as camp cook for numerous years in tourism and logging. Julie is a a great cook and hostess who will make sure you are comfortable.

Secret Cove is on the Sunshine Coast of BC only 2 hours by car (including a beautiful ferry ride across Howe Sound) from Vancouver. Secret Cove is central to some of the best cruising destinations in the world.

The magic begins the moment you walk down the dock in this stunning location. Step on Reverie and relax. The scenery will mesmerize, the wild life will entertain and you may even see the whales swim by!

Thormanby Island is only minutes from the dock and boasts sandy beaches and beautiful trails.

Smuggler Cove marine park is "just around the corner" It is stunning anchorage and a kayaker's paradise.

Maybe you will want to join us for an overnight to Smuggler cove or Jedidiah Island, and enjoy relaxing on the boat after a fine home cooked meal on the yacht.

3-4 day trips to the Harmony Islands, Royal Reach and Princess Louisa Inlet take you deep into the wilderness and off the grid. (No worries, Reverie has solar power!

The Boat: Reverie is a 38' Hunter sailboat with

  •  2 staterooms,
  • a generous salon and well appointed galley including microwave, three burner stove and oven. double sinks and large Chest type fridge and freezer.
  • There is one "bathroom" or head on the vessel with a shower.
  • Powered by diesel engine.
  • Auxiliary power: 2 large solar panels.
  • up to date electronic navigation systems
  • Espar forced air heat for chilly evenings at anchor.
  • The cockpit seating area is large and comfortable with custom made cushions, a dining table and 2 stern seats. The cockpit can be fully enclosed for your cruising comfort in wet weather.
  • 2 10.5 foot kayaks for exploring anchorages
  • 10.5 foot rigid hull inflatable tender with Honda 9.9 engine
  • Guests will sleep in the stern state room with a private entrance to the "head" or bathroom.
